1945 World Series Game 6 at Wrigley Field, Chicago. One Ticket Stub, Two Programs.
A very unique Chicago Cubs (and Detroit Tigers) collectible. This lot includes the ticket stub from a bleacher seat, and, two programs from Game 6 of the World Series.
The reason for two programs; the game went 12 innings and the game attendee kept score throughout. The Cubs won this game, 8 to 7, in 12 innings. Until October 26, 2016, this was the last Cubs win in a World Series Game. CONDITION: Both programs show some aging and minor wear, however, binding is intact and overall near excellent to excellent condition.As noted, program #1 is scored for innings one thru ten, and, program #2 is scored for innings 11 and 12. The ticket stub has moderate to heavy wear as can be seen in the scans.
