This c1910 Official Spalding Base Ball Score Book starts out with about 14 home games of the Tri-State League's Altoona Rams against league members Allentown, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Johnstown, York, Trenton and Wilmington, then goes to 1912 and about 25 more Altoona Tri-State games. Then it abruptly jumps to the Game 1 of the 1934 St. Louis - Detroit World Series, is scored for Games 1 & 2 in St. Louis and Game 3 in Detroit, skips Games 4 & 5 in Detroit, and then scores Games 6 & 7 in St.
And then, since our ancestors are known for leaving nothing to waste, someone decided the final few pages needrd to be used, and they were - for a State Police - Altoona Police game and a couple of undated and no-teams-listed games. Condition is outstanding considering it has been dragged to a lot of baseball games and used over a couple dozen years. No loose pages, spine seem fine with cover sewn firmly in place. Great piece for Spalding and scorebook collectors, Cardinals, Tigers and Altoona fans and vintage paper collectors.
Scans are of the cover, the title page, the 1st game (1911), the first game in 1912 (both for the road team), then both teams for WS Games 1 and 7 and finally both sides of the back cover.
